KNITTED GRANDMA DISHCLOTHS - INTRODUCTION TO KNITTING
Time Frame: One 4 hour session.
Suitability: Beginners.
Skills to be learned: You will learn the basics of knitting - how to cast on (European style), how to do your knits and pearls, basic knitting patterns. I will show you how to read knitted patterns to create just about anything you like. You will need to bring your own yarn (preferably 100% wool as it is the best material to use for dishcloths) and knitting needles.
Description: We will practice the theory learned to create one of the three different grandma dishcloths - square, flower and a pi circle. You choose which one you want to create on the session and I will give you the pattern to finish up other styles at home.
