CUSTOMISED FABRIC DOLL
Time Frame: This is one of the longest courses I offer! It will last 8 weeks (one 3-4 hour session per week).
Suitability: Beginners to medium sewers
Skills to be learned: We will start with basic fabric knowledge - types of fabrics, weaves and their use (unless you covered that from my other courses). Then we will cover basic hand and machine stitching, their use, basics of creating a pattern for a doll from scratch, basics of clothes pattern making. You will have a choice to customise your doll and even make a totally new pattern! This course if full of a lot of learning!
Description: We will create a soft fabric doll from scratch. I provide all the materials. We will make pattern (or use the one I provide) for a doll, sew it together, design and embroider facial features, create yarn hair, design and create all the clothes and even shoes for your doll!
Price: $100 per session or $750 for the full course if paid upfront.
